Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Mayneph collects, how it is used, and your rights. Mayneph is operated by MAYNE PLUMBING & HEATING LTD, the data controller.

What we collect

  • Account data: your email and basic account settings when you register.
  • Workspace inputs: the notes you type — room, issue, timeline, urgency and photo descriptions — to generate your draft.
  • Billing data: plan, subscription status and credit usage. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: basic logs and analytics needed to run and secure the service.

AI processing of your inputs

The text you enter may be sent to a third-party AI provider to generate your draft. Please do not enter sensitive personal data, passwords, or full payment card numbers into the workspace. Treat inputs as content that leaves your device to be processed.

How we use data

  • To generate and return your maintenance-record drafts.
  • To operate your account, subscription and credit balance.
  • To provide support, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.

Our legal bases include performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing the service, and consent where required.

Payment data

Subscriptions are billed in USD through a third-party payment processor. The processor handles your card details under its own security standards; Mayneph receives only limited information such as the payment status and a card reference. We never store your full card number.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run Mayneph — such as hosting, the AI provider, analytics and the payment processor — under appropriate agreements, and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep account and billing records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your account data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or the CCPA — including access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, and (for California residents) the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise a right, email support@mayneph.shop. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers & security

Data may be processed outside your country by our providers under appropriate safeguards. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it, though no online service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the workspace or by email.
