Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information — under UK GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA.

Last updated: 22 June 2026

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is MAYNE PLUMBING & HEATING LTD(“we”, “us”), registered in Northern Ireland under number NI055800, at Moore Braniff, 2 Beechill Business Park, 96 Beechill Road, Belfast, BT8 7QN, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. For any privacy question, email support@mayneph.shop.

2. What we collect

  • Order & contact data: name, email, phone, shipping/billing address, order details.
  • Payment data: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation and limited details (e.g. last 4 digits), never your full card number.
  • Enquiry data: anything you send via our contact or bulk-order forms.
  • Technical & usage data: IP address, device/browser, and (with consent) analytics about how you use the site. See our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

  • To fulfil your order (process payment, ship goods, handle returns) — performance of a contract.
  • To answer enquiries — our legitimate interest in responding to you, or steps before a contract.
  • To meet legal duties (tax, accounting, fraud prevention) — legal obligation.
  • Analytics and marketing — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run the shop, under appropriate agreements:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Shipping carriers — to deliver your order.
  • Email provider (Resend) — to send confirmations and replies.
  • Hosting (Vercel) & security (Cloudflare) — to run and protect the site.
  • Analytics — only if you consent.

We never sell your personal information.

5. International transfers

Some providers are based outside the UK/EEA (for example, in the United States). Where we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil the order and meet legal/tax obligations (typically up to 6–7 years). Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Consent-based data is kept until you withdraw consent.

7. Your rights (UK/EU GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these, email us. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, the sources, and the purposes.
  • Request access to, or deletion or correction of, your personal information.
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for these purposes).
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. To exercise any right, email support@mayneph.shop or use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. We will verify your request using the details associated with your order.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the shop and, with your consent, analytics cookies. Manage your choice via our Cookie Policy.

10. Children

Our shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes & contact

We may update this policy and will post the new date above. Questions: support@mayneph.shop.
